Every year we usher in the Summer Solstice with a little gathering. After nearly a year of closed doors, please join us for a set moment of reconnection with food, ritual and tracks from Liverpool DJ Lupini in the garden of the Observatory.
Dinner and midsummer caucus is £7.50 per head.
17:00 | DINNER + SOLSTICE RITUAL
If you’d like to join us for dinner, please email us so we’ve got an idea of the numbers. All food will be veggie, with vegan options. To mark the end of Winter Solstice and greet the Summer, we will be holding a little ritual following dinner - all welcome to sit in or out.
21:00 | DJ SET FROM LUPINI
Liverpool based DJ Lupini will be welcoming the Summer Solstice with some sonic wonders. Lupini is the co-founder and resident at ATHE, radio host of Club Dread (Melodic Distraction) and Kaleidosound (Netil Radio). She keeps it mainly horizontal, dubby, sad, silly and sweet.
23:00 | SLEEPOVER
We also welcome people to stay with us overnight, but please get in touch soon as we have limited places. The cost per night is on a sliding scale, people pay either:
£35 – to support this resource and other stayers
£25 – to sustain the resource and pay for your stay
£15 – subsidised stayer rate
Saturday 19th June
Because we're operating with reduced numbers due to covid-regulations, BOARC is now full for this weekend.
If you'd like to come for the afternoon / evening, drop us a mail to see if there are spaces left.
